Things You'll Need:
- Brush
- Plastic bucket
- Warm water
- Dishwashing detergent
- Spongy applicator
- Clean rags
- Squeegee
-
Step 1
Fill the bucket with warm water and a small amount of dishwashing detergent. Too much dishwashing detergent will cause too many suds.
-
Step 2
Lay clean rags on the floor at bottom of window to catch dripping water. You can clean windows without getting the entire floor wet and messy.
-
Step 3
Dip the spongy applicator into the soapy water and scrub the inside window panel with the soapy applicator in a back-and-forth motion. Wipe around the edges of the window pane with a rag to remove any dirt and grime.
-
Step 4
Start at top of the window pane and pull squeegee down to the bottom removing the soapy water. Clean the rubber edge of squeegee off on a rag and repeat Steps 3 and 4 until the entire inside window pane is clean.
-
Step 5
Repeat Step 3 through Step 6 for the outside window pane using a left-to-right motion with squeegee.
-
Step 6
Use a damp soapy rag to wipe down the window frames.
