You may have heard a few horror stories about McDonald's in your lifetime. Someone may have reported an incident of spoiled food or an altercation with one of the fast food chain's employees. Although some of the grossest McDonald's stories are urban legends, you still want to take steps to ensure you have a good experience at the restaurant.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Keep things simple. If you have a bunch of special orders, you're bound to end up with one or more of the food items getting messed up. Try to order the food without too many changes.
Step2
Speak slowly and clearly. You should speak in a slow and measured voice when giving your order at McDonald's, especially during drive-thru orders. Ask the employee to repeat the order back to you to ensure he got it right.
Step3
Try to steer clear of fatty items. Many people get sick after eating at McDonald's because they ate too much. Order a sandwich if you want, but get a salad with fat free dressing in place of the fries.
Step4
Take your order to go. If you don't like the atmosphere of McDonald's, you can eat in your car or take your meal home.

Tips & Warnings

  • When you have a bad experience at McDonald's, make sure you report it. Fill out a survey at one of the chains or go online to give your opinion.
  • Remember to take your coupons. You'll find McDonald's coupons in the circular section of a newspaper. You can have a good experience at McDonald's by saving some money.
