Everyone knows a blonde joke, but not everyone can tell them. It isn't extremely difficult to write and tell a blonde joke, but you may have a harder time than a blonde trying to find her contacts when she's wearing them. With a little skill and a willingness to sacrifice any chances of a second-date with a smart and sexy blonde, you can master the art of blonde jokes.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Learn how to tell any joke. If you can't tell a joke it will bomb whether it's a blonde joke or serious political satire. All jokes have a set-up, which should include all the information necessary for the joke to make sense, and a punch line, which should be an unexpected twist or outrageous spin on the set-up.

  2. Step 2

Study the stupid things people do. Blonde jokes play up preposterous behavior. Most are interchangeable with jokes about ethnic groups or graduates of your alma mater's rival college.

  3. Step 3

Write your joke. Many blonde jokes have a one-sentence set-up identifying strange blonde behavior ("Why did the blonde stop drinking ice water?" or "Why do blondes take longer to fall?") and a punch line that highlights their cluelessness. Try it on friends and tweak or rewrite it until you get a laugh every time.

  4. Step 4

Streamline your joke. Cull out anything that isn't absolutely necessary.

  5. Step 5

Practice your delivery. Timing is everything. Deliver the set-up, pause to make sure your audience is hooked and drop the punch line.
