Instructions

    • 1

Place a sheet of notebook paper, regular to heavy weight printer or copy paper onto a table or other flat surface so that the long length of the paper is facing you.

    • 2

Fold up the paper horizontally, about an inch or so up, and crease the fold.

    • 3

Bring the whole piece of paper up until you are about an inch from the top of the paper and fold it in half, creasing the fold.

    • 4

Take the right side of the paper and bring it over to the left until you have folded it in half vertically.

    • 5

Hold the paper up until the vertical fold is facing to the right and the horizontal fold is down. Hold the paper between the thumb and fingers of your right hand at the upper right corner so that the one inch flap is at the top of the paper.

    • 6

Maneuver the paper with your right hand so that the left top corner comes over the horizontal side at the top, making a triangle to hold with your left hand in between your thumb and fingers. Make sure you are only holding onto this triangle and no other part of the paper for this to work.

    • 7

Hold the paper up about at your shoulder level. Bring it down with a snap. When the paper unfolds, it will make a loud snapping noise.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you use a little thicker paper you will get a louder snap with this trick.
