Unfortunately, large pores are a fact of nature for many people. They are caused by genetics, acne and even some medical conditions. But you don't have to purchase expensive chemical products to help reduce the size of your pores. You can use a number of natural ingredients right from your kitchen for a personal pore treatment.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Cut oil with oil. Commonly, large pores are accompanied by oily skin, and by cutting the oil you can reduce the appearance of large oils. It may seem crazy to add oil to already problem skin; however, olive oil is one of the best acne treatment around. Simply apply a dab of olive oil to a cotton ball and apply lightly to your skin every morning and at night before bed in place of your standard moisturizer.
Step2
Apply a buttermilk wash to your skin to help close large pores, a gentle treatment that can be used daily without skin irritation. Buttermilk is high in lactic acid, a natural alpha-hydroxy acid that will help to remove dead skin cells, clear black heads, soften skin and reduce the size of pores. Apply buttermilk to your skin with a cotton ball and allow to dry. Rinse and pat dry.
Step3
Close pores and clear acne with a honey mask. Honey is another natural multi-functioning beauty product which helps to kill acne causing bacteria, clear pores and refine the skin. If you have oily skin, you can add a few drops of lemon juice to the honey which will help to cut oil and exfoliate the skin. Leave your mask on for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water.
Step4
Make an exfoliating pore treatment by blending equal parts of baking soda and cucumber. Baking soda is a gentle exfoliant that will soften skin and refine pores, while cucumber helps to tighten the skin. Massage the mixture into affected areas and then rinse with warm water.
