Tissue paper is a fun media to use for art projects. It is softer and flimsier than regular paper and is easier to manipulate and fold. Besides making the normal flowers or paper airplanes you can also make art projects that resemble food. A crisp packet is fun and easy to make with tissue paper.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Purchase a package of sun-yellow tissue paper. Select additional colors depending upon the flavor of crisps that you want to resemble. Popular colors include red, blue, green and pink.
Step2
Trim the yellow tissue paper into about 50 little circles that look like crisps. You can also do ovals, triangles or squares that may resemble other varieties of crisps. Cut them really small to make them snack size.
Step3
Pick the color tissue paper you want to use to for the crisp packet. The color you choose for the packet will represent the flavor. Red can represent spicy or you can use blue to represent ranch flavor.
Step4
Glue seven sheets of the tissue paper together for extra thickness. Make two of these for the front and back of the packet. Glue them together or use a stapler to make the packet.
Step5
Write a catchy name brand on the front of the packet using a felt tip pen. Make sure not to push too hard so it doesn't soak through to the other side of the crisp packet.
Step6
Insert the tissue crisps inside the tissue paper crisp packet.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure not to over stuff the packet as the tissue crisps will fall out.
