  • 2 cans tuna

  • Bread

  • Mayonnaise

  • 3 boiled eggs

The basic process of making a tuna fish sandwich is simple, but you can experiment with any number of options from there. Make a sandwich conform to your unique tastes, or make a bland version for a large group.

Step 1

Choose your bread, whether it be a pita pocket, toasted wheat or plain white bread. The taste of your tuna mix will vary based on the bread you spread it on.

Peel the eggs and chop the whites into small pieces. Mash the yolk with a fork. Put both the egg whites and the yolks into the bowl.

Add 1/2 cup of mayonnaise. Mix well using the wooden spoon.

Step 4

Open the cans of tuna and drain them. Dump them into the bowl with the other ingredients.

Step 5

Stir the tuna in with the other ingredients thoroughly and spread as much as you like on the bread you chose.

Tip

You can add pickle relish, pickles, honey mustard or onions to the mix for a different flavor.

Consider adding a slice of American Cheese, lettuce or tomato to the finished sandwich.
