1
Wrap strands of garland around the top of your chain link fence. You can use natural-looking or even real greenery, or choose tinseled garland in a variety of Christmas colors. Garland will only need to be attached at the ends, using a piece of wire or twisty ties, as the stands will stay in place when weaved through the holes of your fence. Decorate your garland with bows, Christmas ornaments, plastic ice-cycles or spray-on snow.

Choose a few large decorations to highlight your chain link fence. You might add a Santa Clause or reindeer, large candy canes or even angels. Christmas decor is endless, so you can use your old ornaments or choose new to decorate your fence.

3
Add a nice Christmas wreath to the gate of your chain link fence, a great way to say welcome and happy holidays to your guests. Again, you can make your own wreath from Christmas tree trimmings and holiday decorations, or purchase a pre-made wreath.

Fill in the empty spaces of your chain link fence with lots of colorful Christmas lights. Again, attach the ends with wire or twisty ties and then weave the string through the holes of the fence. For best results, decorate while the lights are plugged in so that you can get the full effect as you go.
