Some people wish they could change a lot of things about their looks. Whether it's longer hair, thinner thighs or just a different eye color, you can always think of something about yourself that needs improvement. Be healthy. Being the most beautiful person in the world won't do any good if you aren't healthy. Get some exercise every day, and eat a variety of healthy fruits and vegetables. Drink plenty of water and avoid drinking alcohol and smoking. Talk to your doctor about finding your perfect body weight for your age and height, and work toward getting there.

Put on a happy face. To look your best, the best beauty regimen you can do is to smile. Not only does it make you appear approachable, but it actually makes your brain release chemicals that help you look younger. And looking young feels good, too.

Practice good hygiene. No one can get close enough to find out how perfect you are if you have garlic and onion breath. So keep on top of your hygiene regimen by having clean hair, skin, teeth and nails at all times. If you can afford them, get weekly manicures to keep your nails clean and clipped; many people look at your hands before anything else.

Get comfortable in your own skin. Choose clothing and makeup that makes you feel good about how you look. You can take cues from the current fashion magazines, but ultimately go with whatever makes you feel you look perfect.
