    Visit one of the museums in Wellsville, New York. You can visit either the Dyke Street Museum or the Thelma Rogers Historical Society, in Wellsville. In the area surrounding Wellsville, you can also attend the Oil Museum or the International Ceramic Museum. These museums are a great way to learn about Wellsville and Allegany County in general.

  2. Step 2

    Check out the art scene in Wellsville, New York. Listen to a performance from the Wellsville Performing Arts Orchestra. Also, visit the Wellsville Creative Arts Center. Here you can listen to live music, take art classes or attend art workshops. You can even relax over a cup of coffee at the Wellsville Creative Arts Center's coffeehouse.

    Enjoy the many outdoor activities in and around Wellsville, New York. Located in the Appalachian Mountain foothills and near the Genesee River, outdoor activities abound in Wellsville. You can go hiking, biking or skiing. You can even find opportunities for fishing or hunting in the area. The Genesee River provides a wealth of water-based outdoor activities as well.
