Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Make sure that your document is in the proper format when you make a book with FinePrint software. A good format to use in this instance is Word. Check the document over and make sure it's error free. There's nothing worse than a silly typo which detracts from the overall quality of your book.
Step2
Acquire the free printer driver from the FreePrint site if you intend on making a book with FinePrint for your own use. (iIf you wish to use the software to create a book for sale, then you will have to buy the commercial version of the FinePrint driver.)
Step3
Go to the "file>print" option and choose the FinePrint driver to print your document. Your document will covert to the FinePrint format. Select "booklet" which allows you to see two pages on the screen, side by side.
Step4
Print a page or two of your book using FinePrint to ensure that it is compatible with your computer. If everything looks OK, continue to the next step. If you see any formatting errors, or just plain errors, correct what you must before continuing.
Step5
Create a cover page for the book you have made using FinePrint, and recheck the page numbers as well as the order of the pages.
Step6
Staple the top, the middle, and the bottom of the book you made with Fine Print software. You'll find that a long-armed stapler works best.
