How to Mod in Halo PC
Halo is one of those games--you just can't get enough. For those of you who wish to do more, mod in Halo PC. You can make Master Chief jump even higher (really), and make him withstand the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or the Flood, or the Hunters or the Brutes.

Preparation
-
1
Make back-ups of all your map files in Halo PC before modding. You want to have something from which to start over should you make a mistake.
-
2
Go to c:\programfiles\microsoftgames\halo on your PC when you wish to mod Halo PC.
-
-
3
Find the MAPS file, copy all of the contents then save them in a new folder. Give the new folder you have created for the copied maps this name: BACKUPS.
-
4
Get both the mapping tools and the plugin pack for Halo PC before modding. Get version 3.5 of the Halo Mapping Tools, and the plug in pack that's for Hmtv3.5.

Restart your computer and the game, and see how your mods have changed the way Master Chief responds. You should find he jumps higher and takes far less damage when attacked.
