This simple trick will make any paper/essay you have to write for school noticeably longer. Teachers and professors won't be able to tell the difference between your paper and a "normal" paper.
An assignment with "number of page" requirements as opposed to "number of words" requirements
Step1
Finish typing your assignment

Click the "Edit" Tab at the top of the screen

Find and click "Replace"

In the "Find what" box, type "." (a period)
Step5
In the "Replace with" box, type "." (another period)

Click the "More" button. More options should appear under the original window.

Select the "Format" button at the bottom of the window.

Select "Font" from the drop-menu

Select font-size "14" (If your paper assignment requires the main body of your text to be something other than 12-point font, select 2 font sizes above the required size. For example, if your professor wants you to write in 10-point font, select font-size 12 for your new periods.)

Click "OK"

Click the "Replace All" button

Microsoft Word will tell you how many replacements it made. Click "OK"

Voila! Your paper should be noticeably longer. Remember, the more periods you have, the longer your paper will appear.
Tips & Warnings
There are other ways to make papers slightly longer, like changing "double spaced" paragraphs to "2.1" spaced paragraphs.
Slight increases and decreases in window margins can also make papers somewhat longer
