Decrease Gasoline Consumption In Your Car

With gasoline prices on the rise, there are a few tips that you can take to increase your gas mileage.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Car or SUV
  1. Step 1

Change your cars air filter at least every 6 months. Air filters get dirty from road dirt and bugs and deprive your engine of air that can led to poor combustion in your cylinders.

  2. Step 2

Keep your tires properly inflated. Check with your cars owners manual for the correct psi. Under inflated tires will reduce your gas mileage.

  3. Step 3

Change your spark plugs to high performance plugs. High performance plugs will improve your cylinder combustion which will increase engine performance.

  4. Step 4

Get regular tune ups as designated in your owners manual. Tune ups are an important part of keeping your engine running at peak performance.
