How to Make Money Selling Used Golf Balls

This is a hobby I did one summer when I was younger that made over $1500.00. It is a great way to make money for a teen or someone with some extra time.

Things You’ll Need:

• Golf ball retriever
• Ebay membership

1. Go to Ebay to find and purchase a golf ball retriever that you can use to fish golf balls out of lakes. It needs to be one that is attached to a string or rope that you can pull along the bottom of a golf course lake to collect the lost balls.
2. visit your local golf course and get as many balls as you can. This can be done during a round of golf or afterwards. You need to find a lake or pond that has a lot of balls in it to get the best results. You can also just walk around a course looking for balls but this will not result in recovering as many as you will with a ball retriever.
3. Clean and separate the golf balls you find into groups. Separate them by brand and by condition to get the best return. You will then want to gather as many as you can for each group and sell them on Ebay. You will be able to get up to about a dollar per ball all the way down to a dime per ball for the poorer quality ones.
