I wake up with the sound of birds chirping in my back yard every morning. The sound is absolutely amazing. Since my little boy loves to watch birds, we try to find ways to attract them to our back yard. Here is a tip to begin bringing beautiful birds to your own environment.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Bird House
  • Water Bowl
  • Bird Seeds
  • Suet

Step1
Put up bird houses around your yard. Different sizes of shelters attract different kind of birds. Depending on the entrance holes, and the type of birds, you will see a variety of birds in your back yard.
Step2
Provide bird food such as sunflower seeds, peanuts, or already mixed seeds.
Step3
Have a bird bath near by. You can find this in most store, or go to garage sale for a cheap one.
Step4
Hang up suet in the suet feeder. You can actually find both of these at the Dollar Store for two dollars. It is an inexpensive investment, but birds can bring hours of enjoyment to the whole family.

Tips & Warnings

  • Suet come in many different fun shapes and sizes
  • When setting up bird houses, keep squirrels in mind
