How to Make Cracker Jacks!!!

Cracker Jacks are an old favorite that all the children like, adults like them too. Here is an easy recipe that shows you how to make your own batch of this fun time snack.

Things You’ll Need:

• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup dark molasses
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 5 quarts popped corn
• Peanuts

1. combine sugar, molasses, and water in a sauce pan and boil to around 235F or util it becomes soft like cotton.
2. Remove from heat and add baking soda, mix in well.
3. Mix the peanuts and popcorn together in a flat tray or large bowl.
4. Pour the warm mixture all over the popcorn and nuts. Stir to get the popcorn coated.
5. Let cool. Serve to family and friends
