Hey college students, have you ever been stressed over an upcoming exam? What about finals? Haven’t quite adjusted to the college life? To the general public, Stress is one of the number one causes of depression in the United States.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Know is what causes depression.
  • Once diagnosed, see your doctor and take his/her advice.
  • Home remedies are a less medical way to deal with depression.
  • No Alcohol.

Step1
First thing to know is what causes depression. You won't know how to deal with it otherwise. Stress, exposure to depressed family members and thinking of the wrong things will often spark depression.
Step2
Once diagnosed, see your doctor. Don't miss appointments and to what your doctor says. Its okay to be put on treatments such as Cymbalta or Zoloft but it has been reported that these medications can make one have feelings of suicide. If you start to get these feelings, see your doctor immediately.
Step3
Home remedies are a less medical way to deal with depression. Thinking positively, being around positive people, asking for help, talking about your problems, working on a project, trying relaxation techniques and watching your favorite comedy are some ways to deal with depression.
Step4
No Alcohol. Alcohol can destroy families, create depression and make depression worse if you've been diagnosed. If you are an alcoholic please talk to someone that will help you quit.
