If you decided on playing a bass guitar but don't know anything about playing it you've come to the right place. Its not really that hard this I can tell you from the start. Follow these steps and yo will be amazed about how quick you will learn.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • a bass guitar with 4 strings

Step1
Note that this kind has only four strings and the classic guitar has six.
Step2
When holding the bass guitar observe the four strings, the first string from top to bottom is the E string followed by the A string then comes D and G.
Step3
You can make every string sound differently by pressing on it with your fingers. On the bass guitar you can notice that it has, like the classical guitar, 12 frets . The image represents the frets from a 12 string guitar. to find the bass guitar strings look to the bottom of the table.
Step4
The numbers represent the fret number and open means that you don't touch the string with your left hand when pinching it.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure your guitar is tuned
  • don't study it to hard or you will begin not to like playing the bass guitar
