How to entertain your toddler on a budget

Entertaining your toddler is a pretty easy task to accomplish. You may think they have to have loads and loads of toys to play with to be entertained, but that is not so at all.

1. We all know how children often like the packaging the toy comes in better then the toy itself. Besides that there are many things you can give your toddler to play with and it will bring a smile to their cute little face.
2. No matter what your budget is you can entertain your child easily. There are several items in your home right now that are great entertaining items for them to play with. You can give them pots and pans and turn them upside down, give them a wooden spoon or other items like it so they can play drums. This is a timeless entertaining activity children of all ages love to do.
3. The rolls from paper towels, toilet paper, aluminum foil etc. can be very fun for children to play with. They make great telescopes and you can play peek a boo with it also. Toddlers will have fun playing with it in many ways just make sure you supervise them. They may suck on it or even fall with it in their hands.
4. Make a tent inside your home with blankets and pillows. You can create a fun hiding or playing spot for them with any blanket and they will enjoy it. Set up the inside with a soft blanket and pillows for them to lay down and relax if they choose. They will have fun going in and out of their little homemade tent. My children still love doing this as they grow up.
5. The greatest entertainment any child can receive is their parent playing and interacting with them. No matter what you are doing with your child if you are interacting with them, it is sure to make them happy. You can read to them, play dolls or cars with them and play peek a boo and other things. As long as you are with them they are probably going to be happy.
6. Look around your home at different items and see if they are kid friendly. You will be amazed at how many great entertaining items exist in your home. Entertaining toddlers is fun and easy. When you see their little faces light up with a big smile it is a wonderful experience. Have fun with your toddler as the years go by so fast and they will be growing up before your very eyes!
