Are you having trouble getting the kids to eat their vegetables? It helps to give them a silly name and add a little peanut butter.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Fresh Celery
  • Peanut Butter
  • Raising
  • Knife

Step1
I loved this treat as a kid and I think it helped me to like vegetables. It's easy to make and fairly healthy depending on the amount and kind of peanut butter you add.
You take a stalk of celery, cut off the tough end and cut it into two inch lengths.
Step2
Spread peanut butter (creamy) into the groove.
Step3
Mash the "ants", California raisins into the peanut butter.

You're done.

Tips & Warnings

  • Supervise kids using any knife
  • Kids love the "gross" factor of eating pretend "ants".
  • Be aware of guests allergies to peanuts.
