How to Carve (Turn) on a Skateboard

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Skateboard
• Smooth Surface
• OPTIONAL: Safety Gear

1. After you've learned how to kick (push) on your skateboard you must learn how to carve (turn). Get going on your skateboard.

2. Lean toward the way your feet are pointed to turn that way.

3. Lean backward to go the way your heels are pointed to turn that way.

4. Have fun and try to turn around obstacles.

Tips & Warnings

• Don't lean to far.
• Skateboarding is a dangerous sport, no matter how much safety gear you wear you can still suffer from injury or death.
