I learned this very simple trick while I was in Basic training.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Old Mop
  • 3~4 - Old XL T-Shirts
  • Wood floor oil/Cleaner
  • (a little elbow grease)
  • (some great music)

Step1
Put one of the T-shirts on the Mop head portion as if it was wearing it and Tie the sleeves together on each side.
Step2
Dust mop your wooden floors.
Step3
After thats done, change the T-shirts and add any wooden floor cleaner or oil of your choice and treat your floor to some good ole' TLC.
Step4
Change the T-shirt again and go over your floor to even out the cleaner/oil on the floor.
Step5
Stand back and admire your beautiful floor.

Tips & Warnings

  • To avoid an accidental slip and fall, make sure that the cleaner/oil you use is used sparingly. You wouldn't want it to be too slick to walk on.
