How to make Spaghetti Cheese Casserole

My Maw-maw, makes the best tasting spaghetti cheese casserole. And no matter how many times I made it, it never tasted like hers. I followed her directions, but it always seemed like something was missing. I'd always been told that a good cook always left out that one special ingredient. And I was sure that my Maw-maw had done the same thing to me. One Thanksgiving, I watched her make it. I didn't see anything different. She used the same recipe, that she had given me. Now I really was stumped. Why didn't my casserole taste the same as hers? That afternoon, when I got her alone, I asked her, "Maw-maw what am I doing wrong? I follow your directions, and it's still doesn't taste like yours." Maw-maw smiled and replied, "Sugar, let me tell you something my grandmother told me. I went to her with the same question. She laughed at me and said that the only thing missing was love." That night after I had returned home, I thought about what my Maw-maw had said. You know, she was right. The reason I made the casserole in the first place, was because it reminded me of my Maw-maw, and all the happy holidays I had spent with her. It reminded me of love. I again made the spaghetti cheese casserole using my Maw-maw's recipe. And while I was making it, I thought back to all the happy times I had spent at her table. And you know what? My casserole tasted just like my Maw-maw's!
