There might come a time where you are living with another person. Keep in mind that due to unfamiliar situations and stress will cause a person to act differently.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • yourself
  • open mind
  • patience
  1. Step 1

1* First keep in mind that they may be going through a difficult situation. Keep an open mind and offer them yourself as a ear to listen or a place to vent. Having that trust makes things easier.

  2. Step 2

2*Be respectful of your roommates at all times. Clean up after yourself at all times. Make sure not to leave out dirty towels or dishes in the sink. Keep your music low if you know that they are studying. The more considerate you are to them then they will be more considerate to you.

  3. Step 3

3*if a undesirable situation comes up bring it up to the roommate rather than keeping it bottled up inside. The quicker the problem is laid out the quicker there will be an easy way to solve the problem.

  4. Step 4

4* Be respectful of their sleeping habits. It is a very common thing to get frustrated if your roommate is watching a movie with the surround sound on. If there is something that you would not want going on while you are sleeping do not do it to your roommate.

  5. Step 5

5* Keep the relationship positive at all times if you can. If you are open with one another it will be easier to live together peacefully.

  6. Step 6

6* Pick an activity that you both like doing. Try planning a time where you can go and do something together. This will strengthen the bond and make living together easier.

  7. Step 7

7* Have patience and understanding while living with one another.
