Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- 1-2 large mango's peeled and diced
- 3/4 - 1 lb of shrimp
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions
- Juice from 2 limes
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 green chili seeded, and minced up
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- Salad leaves (large so you can use as a wrap)
- 1 garlic clove minced
- cilantro to taste
Step1
Cook and de-vein the shrimps if you bought them raw. You can grill them for added flavor or simply boil them with water.
Step2
Combine the sugar, lime juice, soy sauce, fish sauce, garlic, chili, onion and cilantro together.
Mix them all together.
Step3
Next add in the mango and mix well again.
Now add the shrimp and gently toss.
Step4
Place your lettuce leaf on a plate and fill with some of the mango shrimp salsa. You simply pick it up and eat. Easy to make and eat! It is a great recipe that my family loves and often asks for, even the ones that re not on a low fat diet. It is great in the summer along with a BBQ.
