Key lime pie is a delicious citrus pie that can be made in a low fat version that taste delicious! There are many ways that you can alter recipes to make it contain less fat.

  • 1 reduced fat graham cracker crumb crust
  • 1 box (1/3 oz) of sugar free lime Jello
  • 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 2 8 ounce containers of lime flavored yogurt (low fat)
  • 1 8 ounce container of sugar free whipped cream
Step1
First off when you are shopping for your ingredients for your pie, make sure that they state that they are either low fat or reduced fat. Here is a recipe that taste great and is easy to make using the ingredients listed above.
Step2
On your stove boil the water and add the Jello into it and stir with a whisk, then stir in all the yogurt. Next fold in the whipped cream.
Place the mix into your pie crust and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.

I got this recipe off the Internet some time ago, but it is a quick and easy recipe that tastes great. It contains all the flavor you could want but not the calories. The part that takes the longest is waiting to be able to dive in and enjoy your key lime pie.
