One those days when you are just simply to busy to spend along time in the kitchen preparing a meal, your crockpot can do all the work for you. Before you head out of your house in the morning you can simply through together a few ingredients into your crockpot and allow them to simmer all day

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 3 pounds boneless pork roast
  • 1 large onion thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves of garlic (you can throw them in whole and take them out before serving)
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cooking wine
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce ( I use Bull's Eye original flavor)

Step1
By the time you return home, not only does the house smell great but the meal will taste like it took you forever to prepare it. Here is a great recipe for pulled pork sandwiches to make in your crockpot.
Step2
Place your pork roast into your crockpot and then add the other ingredients on top. Give a little stir to help distribute the ingredients and then allow to cook on slow for the day. If you are in a hurry then you can cook on fast. It cooks two times faster on high heat then on the slower settings.
Step3
Before getting ready to serve take out the onions, garlic, and drain the liquid out.
Step4
Next place the meat on a cutting board and with a fork pull it apart. Shred the pork up to your liking and then serve on toasted bread or buns of your choice. It goes great with coleslaw, potato salad, macaroni salad or similar side dish.
