Are you being stalked? I have been stalked for the past 10 years. So I have some guidelines I have learned during that time to share with you.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • You will need to be become more alert or your surrounds, and open your eyes, and become more aware. You will need to change the way you look at things for your own protection.

Step1
1. Do not keep any private documents around your home, such as credit card information, address books and telephone numbers. Keep them under lock and key including simple bills like electricity. Sometimes family pictures are important information for a stalker. They are used to locate you. Also watch any written information that is important for your eyes only.
Step2
2. Secure your front door. This is not for those who can afford cameras, and other types of security. I live in a modern walk up building. After my first week, one very important lock on my front door was broken overnight and I actually got locked out as a result! So beware.
Step3
3. Get an unlisted telephone and try very hard not to disclose it. I find that this is the most difficult thing. Stalkers love to break into mailboxes and steal your mail for information. Watch what you put in your garbage. Shred all documents. Secure your vehicle. Make sure your computer is in a room that cannot be accessed, or lock it up. I have gone through two computers from it being hacked by my stalkers.

Tips & Warnings

  • Last but not least, it's hard, but keep a journal of whatever you may notice. It's good to have a camera on hand. Sometimes we are so busy living life that we do not notice the little things, like someone watching you across the street. A familiar car that is always on the highway with you. A man or woman you constantly run into. Sometimes they sit right next to you on an airplane and they smile at you and you know them, and recall seeing them somewhere. Someone walking closely behind you in early morning while you wait for a bus. These are signs you should be aware of.
  • Do not approach these people. They can become violent. Also sometimes as in my case, there may be more than one. It could be a group. So be careful going out at night by yourself, walking in dark parking lots. My whole life has changed because of my experience and it continues to this day. So I share this with you for your protection. My next article will show you how people become stalkers in your life.
