Have you ever wondered how to perform a fadeaway jumper to make shots over defenders? Here's your chance.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • A basketball
  • A basketball hoop
  • A defender

Step1
Dribble the ball to where you need to shoot from.
Step2
Square up your feet.
Step3
Jump backwards and as high as you can without losing control of the ball or your shot.
Step4
Shoot the ball at an arch toward the basket.
Step5
Practice with a defender.
Step6
If you are in a game, don't celebrate. Make it look like you do it all the time and it's not a big deal.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you are playing basketball on the hardwood, wear your basketball shoes.
  • you are outside, wear sneakers. Don't mess your sneakers up.
