How to do a fadeaway jumpshot

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• A basketball
• A basketball hoop
• A defender

1. Dribble the ball to where you need to shoot from.
2. Square up your feet.
3. Jump backwards and as high as you can without losing control of the ball or your shot.
4. Shoot the ball at an arch toward the basket.
5. Practice with a defender.
6. If you are in a game, don't celebrate. Make it look like you do it all the time and it's not a big deal.

Tips & Warnings

• If you are playing basketball on the hardwood, wear your basketball shoes.
• you are outside, wear sneakers. Don't mess your sneakers up.
