How to Remove Remove Mildew

It's commonly thought that if you have mildew on something, the only thing it would be fit for is your garbage can. That doesn't have to be the case with this easy home recipe for your own mildew remover.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Mix equal parts of white vinegar and borax cleanser.
Step2
Add 2 cups warm water.
Step3
Mix well.
Step4
Apply to mildew spots.
Step5
Allow to sit for 10 minutes or so.
Step6
Rub well and blot off with soft cloth.

Tips & Warnings

  • If it's not a washing machine washable fabric item, you may wish to rinse well with warm water mixed with lemon juice to remove the cleanser smell.
