Things You’ll Need:

• computer
• email address
• internet connection

1. First you have to have a vaild email address. Without you cannot post on Craigslist. So if you do not have an email get one. A lot of sites offer free standard email accounts. Yahoo, and Google just to name a few.
2. Now once you have one you go to Craigslist that is local to you. Depending on what state you live in. Some cities do not have their own. For example in ohio only some major cities have a site. Like Toledo Ohio is one of them. I do not live there but I live close so I post there.
3. You go thru the for sale link and click on it. At the top of your screen you will see. Help and Post click on the word post. Next it will show all of the possiable catagories you pick on that best describes what you are selling. Example if you want to sell your car hit cars/trucks.
4. It will prompt you to decribe what you are selling. How much you want from it. And where your location is. Then you will write a brief description of your item. After this you will hit post and it will send you an email to post your posting. You must do this in order to have your post to be published.
5. Go into your email now and you should have gotten an email from Craigslists. Hit the link as it prompts you to do and then you will see your posting. Hit publish and there you have just posted on Craigslist for free.

Tips & Warnings

• make sure you do not write a long description people do not want to be reading it all day.
• Make sure you read the terms of using the website. There are rules and you could be kicked off.
