How to Organize Your Songs

Things You’ll Need:

• Songs
• Paper or Microsoft Word
• Sheet Protectors and/or Dividers (optional)
• Binder (optional)
• USB Disk (optional)

1. The first thing you want to do is gather all of your songs together then look over them to make sure everything is in order as you want. If you want rewrite them with corrections made but my suggestion would be to type them it's a lot easier to make corrections.
2. A great way to have your songs is in order according to emotion. Happy, sad, then mad which makes it easy when your album is being put together or an artist needs a certain type of song you can go directly to it. I type my songs up on microsoft word in the desired sequence and save them to my USB Drive instead of writting them down because the creativity usually follows faster that way for me. I have them in order of emotion so I just scrool down and type the song in front or behind the right song.
3. If you plan to become an artist and want to have a lot to do with your album development I think you should put them in order you'd want them to be on the album. When you become signed this will be very impressive and it will show that you want the best things for your album.
