  1. Step 1

    Go to freecreditreport.com or call a credit agency for your credit report. Look it over and see if you have anything. Organize what bills you have to pay currently and unpaid so that you can begin building your credit.

  2. Step 2

    One way you can build credit is by getting a bill in your name and paying it on time each month. You’re on time payments should be reported to the credit bureau establishing some credit. Bills you can get include home phone, cable, electric, or credit card. After about six months of on time payments your credit will began increasing

  3. Step 3

    Another way you can is by paying off any unpaid bills that you may have. The credit bureau will increase your credit score with every debt you pay off. Eliminating debt is the best credit improvement you can possible do to build your credit.
