Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- guitar
- electric keyboard/piano/guitar toner
Step1
Notice that the guitar has 6 strings. When looking at the guitar standing in front of you like in the picture notice form the right to the left the 6 strings. the represent in this order: the E string, the B string, the G string, the D string, the A string and again the E string.
Step2
If you have a piano or electric keyboard you can tune your guitar from them by playing the notes we talked about earlier beginning with the E note from the middle octave and continuing with the B and G notes from the octave next to it on the left and so om. By rotating the peg you can tone the guitar.
Step3
If you have a toner its more easier you just have to connect t to the guitar or if you have a classic guitar you have to put it near the bridge, then you have to rotate the peg till the toner indicates that the instrument is in tune. The tuner indicates the fine tone by LED lights, when red it means that it is wrong and when green it means that it's all right also make sure its the right note you want to obtain because you could tune the E note for example to sound like a G note. A professional tuner has a row of LED lights for the string notes(6 lights ) and another one for a single string which indicates if you need to move the peg up a little more( b) and one that is the fine tune and las but not least the third one that indicates that you need to turn the peg down a little(# ).
