Procrastination is one of the hardest things when it comes to studying or anything requiring effort. Here are a few tips to avoid procrastinating when you have to get something done.

Things You'll Need:

  • Workspace
  • No Distractions
  • Coffee
  1. Step 1

    Go to a library and sit at a big desk that is well lit with only the things you need for studying.

  2. Step 2

    Your studying/workspace is your sanctuary, if it's cluttered you'll find it hard to think straight. Keep it clean and neat.

  3. Step 3

    Try to avoid listening to your I-Pod, texting, bringing your computer or anything else that can distract you from what you need to get done.

  4. Step 4

    Make sure your eating a healthy meal before you start working, this will allow you to concentrate and not worry about your hunger.

  5. Step 5

    Coffee is a great aid, but should be consumed in moderation.

  6. Step 6

    Bring healthy snacks in case you get hungry.

  7. Step 7

    Take periodic 5 minute breaks every hour.

Tips & Warnings
  • The library is the best place to study
  • Don't take any stimulants such as Aderole or Ritalin if you don't have ADD/ADHD.
