Citrus Repellent : Cut a lemon into quarters and place them in the pint jar.Boil warter and pour over the lemons then cover tightly and let it steep over night. The Next day you can pour this repellent into the the spray bottle to spray your dog all over with.( careful around the eyes) keep awy from delicate parts of the body and under your pets armpits.

Aromatherapy repellant : Use 10 ml. of sweet almond oil as your base, then add 1o drops of lavender and 5 drops of cedarwood oil. Shake very well and use 1 or 2 in the palms of your hand to rub over pets body at least 2 x a week to keep the fleas away.

A flea collar can be made by rubbing a few drops of one of the following oils : eucalyptus oil Tea tree oil lavender oil or geranium you can rub it into a bandanna ,Do this weekly.

Your Home : Fleas spend most of their time in your furnishings and only hop on you or your pet for their next meal. Make sure you wash your pets bedding regularly fleas never survive a hot wash cycle. If you add eucalyptus oil to the final rinse it also kills 99% of house dust mites according to the university of Sidney, Australia.
Step6
Vacuum your home very thoroughly and Sprinkle a fine layer of Table salt over your upholstery and carpets ,let the salt sit over nite ,then vacuum again and don't for get to empty the vacuum bag....Good Luck
Tips & Warnings
If your pet has a lot of fleas then they more then likely have worms, they get worms from biting the fleas. Ask your vet. large amounts of fleas can also make you and your pet sick.
CAUTION:( please don't put collars on a cat, because they can hang them selves)
