If you want to start online business and sustain in the market, you need to produce products that sell. While having your own products is advantageous, it is not a necessity. You can acquire products and sell them as your own.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Internet
  • Petty cash
  1. Step 1

    If you are running an online business or you are planning one, you probably are brain raking about products to offer to your customers. The simple theory is no products, no customers. If having products is good, having more products is better.

  2. Step 2

    Products that come with resale rights are a blessing to online entrepreneurs. Many ebooks and pieces of software, especially in the field of online or internet marketing, are sold with resale rights included. It is important to know the difference between the terms.
    Before purchasing resale right products, you must check what rights do you have on the product.

  3. Step 3

    Products with normal resale rights can be sold to your customers and you keep 100% of profit generated by such sale. There is no limitation on the number of times you can sell the product but there might be a minimum price specified.

  4. Step 4

    Master resale right products are those products which can be sold by tier customers. That is, when you sell it to a customer, he acquires the right to sell it to his customers. This is a way of viral marketing.

  5. Step 5

    Products with private label resale rights (PLRs) come with rights to alter the content and right to label it as your own product.

  6. Step 6

    As the name suggests, the products with rebranding rights, can be rebranded as your own products. You will be allowed to replace the author's name with your name and sell it as your own product.

  7. Step 7

    There are millions of resale right products buried in hundreds of sites. You will need to dig into those sites and find right products categorized under your niche. My favorite site is master-resale-rights.com. Prices range from $0.00 to $30.

  8. Step 8

    A list of rights will be mentioned with each product description. Ensure that you understand about every right. A short list of possible rights:
    * Sell Private Label Rights
    * Claim Full Authorship
    * Sell Master Resale Rights
    * Edit/Alter the Sales Materials
    * Added to Paid Membership Sites
    * Added to Free Membership Sites
    * Can be Broken Down Into Articles
    * Can be Packaged with Other Products
    * Sell at Auction Sites
    * Offered Through Dime Sale Events
    * Offered as Free Bonus
    * Given Away for Free

  9. Step 9

    I bought an auto-responder software for $17, which was for sale on those minisites for $147 + 8 free bonuses (not very useful, though). I used the auto-responder for four of my sites and sold it to 15 customers for $32 each.

  10. Step 10

    Bottom Line: Take time to pick the right products that merge with your niche and market them through your site / blog

Tips & Warnings
  • Check the bargains section for great bargains.
  • Read the disclaimer surrounding them. If you wanted to change the content you would have to contact the author and request a partnership or buy the editing rights to the product.
  • Not all products are as useful as they are projected by the authors. Beware.
