How to make your computer work better

Computers are great especially when you got a new computer at home just taken out of the box. But what do you do when it starts to slow down on you?

Things You’ll Need:

• a central unit
• a mouse
• a keyboard
• a monitor
• windows xp installed

1. Turn on your computer
2. Wait for all processes to load
3. Right-click on the My Computer icon situated on the desktop or in the Start menu
4. Select Properties from the drop-down menu by left-clicking on it
5. From the window that appeared select the Advanced menu from the upper-side
6. From the new menu that appeared select select Settings from the visual effects category
7. A window will then appear from which you will have to select the adjust for best performance option
8. Then click ok
9. After that click Apply
10. And then click ok once more

Tips & Warnings

• This will modify the way in which your desktop looks
• Do not do this if you do not need to
• After this setting is made you will have a windows 98 desktop
• All visual effects for your desktop will be erased
