Making a good impression during tan interview is essential in getting that job that you’re dreaming of. Your body language plays a greater role than we may think.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Posture, posture, posture….Did I mention posture? Having your back straight and shoulders back will show the interviewer that you are self confident.
Step2
Maintain eye contact. You want to maintain eye contact as the interview goes on. This will show the interviewer that you are engaged in the conversation and able to maintain concentration.
Step3
Hand placement. You will want to keep your hands rested. You can distract the interviewer if you move them around too much during conversation.
Step4
Smile. A smile will create a warm atmosphere.

Tips & Warnings

  • Practice posture always.
  • Practice your greeting in a mirror.
  • Keep both feet on the floor. This will lesson the tendency to squirm about in your seat.
  • No nail biting.
  • Do not look down when pondering a question.
  • Dress comfortably. The more comfortable you are, the more confident and pleasant you’ll be.
