Pull the slide back to remove round from chamber. For extra precaution, rack the slide a few times.
Step3
Glocks require you to pull the trigger to release the firing pin prior to breaking down. Aim the gun in a safe direction, and pull the trigger.
Step4
Grasp the back part of the slide with one hand and pull it back enough to release the tension.
Step5
Pull the slide release tabs on each side of the gun with your thumb and index finger of the opposite hand.
Step6
Release the slide, and pull it forward off of the gun.
Step7
When done cleaning, inspecting, etc... Take slide and slide back on from the front. Pull slide all the way back and release.
