How to Make Your Own Window Cleaner

Believe it or not, you can clean your windows better and have a streak free result if you make your own window cleaner. You don't even need paper towels!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Mix equal parts white vinegar and water.
Step2
Pour mixture into a spray bottle.
Step3
Spray onto your windows.
Step4
Wipe off with black and white newsprint.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can use a squeegee instead of the newsprint if you prefer. Your local dollar store should have a supply of them.
  • Do not use shiny or colored newsprint. These are chemical based. Black newsprint is vegetable based and will not cause streaking.

Micro Fiber cloths work well also and are available at dollar stores.
