How to Make Granny's Pecan Pie

This is a very delicious pie! Anyone who makes it will not be disappointed. If you like pecan pie, be sure to try this recipe!(Recipe makes 2 pies)

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup white kayro syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 frozen pie crust
  • mixing bowl
  • spoon
  • measuring cup
  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Get bowl, spoon and measuring cup out. Get ingredients together. Now that you have everything together, were are ready to go!

  2. Step 2

    Mix eggs(lightly beaten),sugar, syrup, vanilla, butter, and pecans together.

  3. Step 3

    Fill pie crust to within 1/4 inch of top. Otherwise they sometimes spill!

  4. Step 4

    Place pies in oven and bake for 1 hour at 300 degrees.

Tips & Warnings
  • We find that heating the butter in a microwave makes for easier mixing.
  • Place tin foil on oven rack underneath pie plates to catch any spills.
