Swimming Pools & Gardens have sometimes been neighbors at odds, but with this neat little trick you'll be able make to keep them far closer to each other then has once been possible. Now smelling the flowers while on your floatie chair, or laying out getting tan is easier than ever, and the wasp's & the bee's stay happy out from under the swatter's grasp. It's smaller than your normal bird break room, but a bee bath it is nonetheless.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Water basin, shallow decorative bowl, or just a plain ol' cup if nothing else
  • Pedestal to raise the water off of the ground so the flying insects see it easier

Step1
Find a place in your garden that is near the heaviest density of flowers.
Step2
Place the pedestal on the ground where you would like the bee bath to be located.
Step3
Fill the chosen basin with water, and place on top of the pedestal.
Step4
Place more than one for larger pools, gardens, or flying invader problems.
Step5
Enjoy knowing that you haven't killed anything, and a compromise has been found for the enjoyment of both.

Tips & Warnings

  • Blue containers will attract more wasp's & bee's to the water, they see UV Spectrum light, and blue is like a big bull's eye saying come get me.
  • This has been evaluated for wasp's & bee's. I make no claim as to the effectiveness on those crazy flying scarab beetles.
