Flat rock scorpions are the longest scorpions in the world reaching 1 foot. They are desert scorpions and they have amazing flat bodies that can fit into small crevices.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • 5-10 Gal. tank
  • A flat Rock Scorpion
  • 1 med. sized reptisand
  • A secure lid
  • Heat Pad(optional)
  • A Flat Rock

Step1
Let's begin with setting up the enclosure. First, you put the heat mat on the side of the tank.
Step2
Reptisand After that, pour the reptisand in the tank and fill it up until it is 1 or 2 inches thick. This species comes from a desert region so keep the humidity low.
Step3
Lastly, you can put the flat rock wherever you want.
Congrats!!!!You have made a flat rock scorpion habitat!!
Now let's move on to caring for the scorpion.
Step4
When you put the scorpion in the enclosure for the first time, leave it alone for about a week so it will adjust to its new habitat.
Step5
After the week is over, you can feed it now. Feed 3 crickets a week and an occasional mealworm. This species doesn't eat very much. You don't need a water dish because it get all its moisture from the crickets.
Step6
Holding Flat Rock Scorpion If you want to handle the flat rock scorpion, go ahead but it is not recommended because this scorpion is known to have a bad attitude.

  • If you are allergic to bee venom then DON'T KEEP A SCORPION
