Having a sticker on your window may have seemed like a good idea until you change your mind. Other times your child may be the culprit. Either way, it’s easy to remove stickers from a glass surface.
Use masking tape and paper to cover the surround surfaces around the glass. Begin by place the paper over the surface that needs to be protected. This could be plastic, painted surfaces, wood or fabric.
Step2
Seal the paper to the glass with masking tape
Step3
Lightly apply a solvent to the sticker. I suggest using nail polish remover, vegetable oil, olive oil or Goo Gone.
Step4
Soak a paper towel in the same solvent and rub the paper towel over the sticker.
Step5
Take a stainless steel razor blade and slide the blade under the stick. Make sure you rub in one direction to prevent your blade from scratching. In addition, make sure you have a razor blade holder on the other end.
Step6
If the sticker is difficult to remove, try to apply more solvent.
Tips & Warnings
When using oil, take of the top of the sticker which is the part with writing on it. Then apply the oil and let soak. At this point the sticker should just rub off.
When using any solvent make sure your in a well ventilated room
Be careful with the razor blades. They are very sharp
