Finish your website, paying attention to keywords that people will search for using popular search engines. These words should be used at a two to four percent rate in your website text, code, and image texts as well. Search engine optimization is the first step in getting free advertising for your website.

Submit your website to free directories and smaller search engines. Focus on free advertising directories with PR (page rank) higher than your website. A page rank of three and up is recommended.
Step 3

Create a free blog and submit it to blog directories and RSS feed directories. Use your blog to post information that will be of interest to people searching for your website. Write about updates, industry news, new products, reviews, and other information. Include links to your website and product pages if applicable.
