Spring is here! Use this article to find fun, romantic, cheap things for you and your love to do.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Book of poetry
  • Picnic basket of food
  • Blanket
  • Camera
  • Binoculars
  • Art supplies

Step1
Head out to a scenic park or hiking trail. Pack a picnic and a bag of art supplies. Take turns sketching pictures of each other or the scenery. If you have zero artistic talent you can turn it into a game where you have to draw a picture of what you want (be it a sandwich, a drink, a kiss) and if you draw it well enough that the other person can guess it...they have to get it for you (or give it to you).
Step2
Take a blanket, binoculars, a camera and some snacks to anywhere that will look pretty in pictures. Meet at a specific time with the aforementioned items. Munch on your goodies while you take you take pictures of the scenery and each other. Set the self timer on the camera so both of you can be in the pictures. At the end of the day take the pictures and make a scrapbook of your day together.
Step3
Meet at the train station with no plans in mind. Travel as far as you can with the time you have. Go somewhere you've never been before. When you get off the train wander around until you find a shop that looks interesting or a restaurant with food you've never tried. If nothing looks good, find a park and swing your worries away!
Step4
Rent a boat for the afternoon or bring a blanket to the beach. Take turns writing poems about each other. Try different styles. After you've exhausted that read some work from the masters.

Tips & Warnings

  • Try to be outdoors as much as possible.
