How to change the password on an another account in windows without knowing the password

How to change the password to a alternate user account without knowing the password from command prompt!!!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Windows 2000 or later

1. Click on Start Menu and go to run

2. Type in CMD in the bar

3. Once in Command Prompt type Net User and hit enter. A list of users will show on screen.

4. Decide which account you want to change the password for and type in Net User (Name of account) * then hit enter.

5. Add new password and then you are done.

Tips & Warnings

• There will be some accounts that are unable to change passwords from this method, i.e., the help assistance or any remote services.
