How to Instantly Market and Sell Your Erotica Stories

Ok, I'll be the one to admit to it. I write erotica and enjoy it! From day one, I did not want to have to deal with rejections or waiting to see if my work was accepted. So how was I able to have my erotica accepted and get paid for it? I was able to think outside of the box and market my stories to an “adult phone” site.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • Already have stories written
  • Credit card for age verification purposes
  • telephone for recordings
  • basic HTML

Step1
Now before you think anything like what is the typically perceived notion of adult chat lines, my situation is different and is geared strictly to the sole purpose of promoting and selling my erotica. You see, I write adult short stories and, if you are willing to record them on an "adult" phone site (you do not have to speak to anyone), just like I do, you can market them as recorded listings and immediately make them eligible for sale. A woman reading them would work best for maximum sales potential, as the “men seeking women” site gets the most action.
Step2
Next, I know most people want to know how much you make. Well, after the company takes a percentage, I usually get $30 total a month from the recorded listings. This is for 20 recorded listings (the max. allowed), each about 5 minutes long. While not for everyone, if you are interested in marketing these stories, this is just a way. I also sell my "storybook" on the site, as with each recorded listing you can sell your stories in a pay-to-view email. My storybook contains all of my recoded listings (basically adult short stories) and is like a portable version of their last call to my recorded listing.
Step3
If you are interested in learning more, please be advised this is an adult site and has adult content. While you may not have to talk to any callers for recorded listings and pay-to-view emails, your content will be posted with others offering different services; so if this offends you or bothers you in any kind of way, perhaps this isn’t the best way to market your stories.
Step4
Should this method of marketing your erotica appeal to you, feel free to look it up on the Internet. Since it is adult-related, I am going to refrain from listing the company, however, perform a search with the keywords “recorded listings”, “pay to view emails” and “adult chat”. After looking at the search results that come up, there may be a name that keeps appearing that starts with an “n” and ends with a “t”. If so, this is the site I am referring to. You must be an adult to enter the site, therefore, I cannot discuss it any further other than this is where I sell my recorded listings and stories.
Step5
Last, go ahead and give it a try. Make sure you read what kind of recorded listing topics are acceptable and which ones are forbidden. Give it some time to create your listings pages, record them and get them approved. After about a week or so, check your progress: you may just be amazed to see the earnings in your account’s balance.

Tips & Warnings

  • Sorry, but that is all the info I can give out, as I have to be careful, for professional reasons, because I try to write "vanilla" content for the majority of my income and would not want this revelation to cost me a possible job.
  • Also, due to the adult nature of the subject, I have to limit what is said on this article, however, if you choose to use an adult site, be prepared for age verification before you can open your account and begin selling your work.
